i do wish i had bright blue eyes...
i have this weird obcession to make this year’s halloween costume so awesome, and i just don’t seem to be looking at the prices. i want to be Bella from Twilight; at work i have to be regular ol bella from the movie, but at night, i’m going to be post-vampire transformation Bella! so far, i have ordered or received her bracelet from jacob and edward, a Cullen family crest necklace, her converse all stars, a dress i think looks like something she would wear, red contacts from Korea, and her black headband. i still need to get leggings for under the dress, a darker hair color from my stylist, and possibly a new cardigan cover-up thingie. i have a white sweater that i could wear, but it’s very similar to the one in the movie, and i don’t want to be Bella at Prom in Twilight. i don’t have her broken leg walking cast or the right jewelry for that. i do have to alter the dress a bit, just shorten the straps to make it fit better. i’m VERY exited, if you couldn’t tell! now, i have to convince Stephen to be Edward… i’d love to get him a grey pea-coat like his… but i think that would be as far as he would go for the costume part. he won’t let me anywhere near him with make-up, but then again, he’s pretty pale to begin with. i do want to make an appt for a haircut for him, so i can see how i should cut it. hmmm, his hair is a bit too dark. and curly. maybe he wouldn’t make such a great edward after all… oh! i could straighten it, then style it? hmm…
ballpark figure: $200 on the entire costume, including the hair color. dang. well, i do plan to use almost everything again, so maybe it’s not so bad. stephen has spent that much in an afternoon for car parts…
one more thing… Bella gets married before she becomes a vampire, so i need a diamond ring. lol, i can’t wait for the MIVE party! they’re all going to think stephen proposed. psh, yeah right. i have to become a fictional vampiress to get a ring, these days…
